Like how I.M Pei's purpose (artist reference), of his concept, is to connect the present and the past to each other, creating a concept where an illusion by making use of spaces. By doing so, visitors will feel cramped by the space they are in when they walk further into the gallery. Based on his works, the ceiling reflects his style of triangular shapes and allows light to pass through the symmetrical design that has been cut into the ceiling to create an illusion of reflection.
